Impact Hockey Staff Overview

Our refreshing approach to the game resonates through our experienced and well rounded staff. We believe that it not only takes a hard-working and talented player to make it to the next level, but the support of positive and motivating coaches to help them get there. Here's some information on our staff:

ERIC JOHNSON

Eric Johnson

Eric grew up playing hockey in the Armstrong program and was an All-State forward and draft pick of the Vancouver Canucks in his senior year of high school. He attended St. Cloud State University on a full athletic scholarship and was a captain on the first SCSU team to reach the WCHA Final Five tournament (1994). Following SCSU, Eric played professional hockey for one season in the East Coast Hockey League for Louisville, KY. For the past seven years Eric has coached PeeWee, Bantam, and High School teams in Minnesota. He currently coaches the Minnetonka Girls' Varsity team.

“Speed was something that didn’t come naturally for me, but a few great coaches taught me how to improve it, and I put the work in and got the results. My vertical jump increased from 19 inches to 27 inches in just three years, and my skating speed improved significantly. Speed can be developed - and I am confident that any young hockey player can become faster through this program if they are willing to put in the time and effort.” -- Eric Johnson

ADAM KRAGTHORPE

Adam Kragthorpe

Adam ("Ogie") is Impact's Off-Ice Training Director and also a Lead Instructor On-Ice. We are excited about having Adam on board due to his passion for the game and desire to teach young players.
